Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care to animals and collaborate with our veterinary technicians and staff to ensure exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations and develop treatment plans for animals.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Manage and assist in surgical procedures.
  • Counsel pet owners on post-operative care and recovery.
  • Participate in continuing education to enhance skills.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Engage with local animal advocacy groups to promote services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
