Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Environmental Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that minimize environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while enhancing sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments and reports.
• Develop and implement sustainability projects.
• Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on project planning.
• Evaluate and mitigate environmental risks.
• Prepare technical documents and proposals for projects.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or sustainability

Certifications

• NEHA Environmental Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
