Job Description

We are seeking a Veterinary Nutritionist to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nutritional plans for animals, ensuring they receive the best dietary care. You will work closely with veterinarians and pet owners to tailor nutrition solutions based on individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Create tailored nutrition programs based on specific health conditions.
• Engage with clients to discuss nutritional concerns and solutions.
• Assist in the training of staff on nutritional protocols.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable commercial diets.
• Document nutrition plans and follow up on their effectiveness.
• Participate in community outreach programs focusing on animal wellness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice with a focus on nutrition
