Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The role involves safeguarding our organization's information systems against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Ideal candidates will have experience in threat analysis and mitigation strategies, ensuring the business's data integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and risk assessment analysis
• Create and manage security incident response plans
• Ensure the security of cloud-based solutions
• Evaluate new technologies for potential security vulnerabilities
• Conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking
• Coordinate with law enforcement for any breaches as necessary
• Design security architecture for IT infrastructure
• Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO and GDPR standards
• Prepare and present security findings to management

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT security or related fields
