Job Description

As a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering therapeutic services to clients in need. This involves developing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing ongoing support to ensure the best outcomes for your clients. Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments to identify client needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in all interactions.
  • Educate clients about substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
  • Conduct follow-up meetings to assess progress and modify treatment plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Sociology
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting
