Job Description

Join our growing team as a Veterinarian in Durban, where you will be responsible for the medical care of both domestic and wild animals. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle animals with care and respect. You will assist in surgeries, health checks, and provide guidance to pet owners about animal health.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and diseases in animals.
• Conduct routine health checks and wellness examinations.
• Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering.
• Provide health education and resources to pet owners.
• Evaluate and treat emergency medical situations promptly.
• Collaborate with local animal shelters and rescue organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine are advantageous.

Experience

• 3+ years in clinical veterinary practice is preferred.
