Join our dedicated team at Apex Health Pharmacy in Durban as a Pharmacist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on medication use, conducting health screenings, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health records for medication appropriateness.
• Dispense medications with a keen focus on safety and effectiveness.
• Engage with patients to assess their healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care optimization.
• Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust medications as needed.
• Ensure the pharmacy adheres to provincial health policies.
• Actively participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and supervision to junior pharmacists.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s in Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Clinical Pharmacy

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

• English: Fluent
