Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated doctor to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best health outcomes for our patients. Both newly qualified and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for patient care and management of medical cases.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Follow up on patient progress and modify care plans accordingly.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families regarding health issues.
• Contribute to hospital initiatives aimed at improving patient care.
• Engage in community outreach to promote health education.
• Support junior medical staff in clinical supervision and training.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in a specific medical specialty: Familiarity with specializations like pediatrics, geriatrics, or emergency medicine is a plus.
• Advanced life support training: Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support methods is advantageous.
