DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our talented team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating and optimizing our operational processes, alongside managing our integration and deployment systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Automate deployments and monitor applications and systems.
• Facilitate the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure best practices.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the operations pipeline.
• Maintain system security protocols during deployments.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Solutions Expert

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps and cloud-based environments
