We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our Port Elizabeth practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare, providing high-quality medical care and support to pets and their owners. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in a variety of animals, while also educating pet owners on best practices for their furry friends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments on various animal species.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to assess pet health.
• Engage in surgery while ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Provide guidance and support to pet owners on health maintenance.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with training veterinary students.
• Actively participate in community outreach and education.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Additional certifications in specialized veterinary fields are advantageous.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a clinical setting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
