We're on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology, ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality. Your role will involve creating and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams for seamless deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate tests into the development pipeline.
• Estimate testing efforts and prioritize testing activities.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues.
• Ensure proper logging and tracking of test cases and bugs.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software against requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• API Testing

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in SQL: Ability to write SQL queries for database testing.
• Experience with Performance Testing tools: Knowledge of tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
