Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Travel Account Manager to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in travel and tourism, exceptional customer relationship management skills, and the ability to drive sales growth. Your role will be pivotal in managing client accounts and ensuring their travel needs are met with the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales through effective management of client accounts and relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance travel services offered to clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new clients on travel systems and processes.
  • Track and report on account performance metrics and client satisfaction levels.
  • Implement and oversee promotional campaigns that attract new clients.
  • Ensure compliance with travel regulations and company policies.
  • Document and analyze client feedback to inform service enhancement initiatives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the travel products offered and their benefits.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management within the travel industry
