Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage cases of a mixed animal patient population.
  • Develop treatment plans based on each animal's diagnosis.
  • Educate clients about preventative care and nutritional requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with specialists for complex cases.
  • Supervise and mentor junior veterinary staff and interns.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Address any client inquiries and concerns with empathy.
  • Perform health checks and vaccinations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Implement high standards of infection control.

Requirements

Education
  • Master of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Specialty certification in a specific area (e.g., surgery, internal medicine) is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary surgery or a similar field
