Job Description

As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department in our prestigious hotel. Your leadership will ensure that all laundry tasks are completed efficiently and meet the high standards expected in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily laundry operations, ensuring efficiency and quality standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure laundry quality meets hotel standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments, including housekeeping.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new laundry staff.
  • Assist in budgeting for laundry supplies and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor laundry workflows to optimize productivity.
  • Implement best practices for laundry efficiency and quality assurance.
  • Conduct routine inspections of laundry facilities and equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Diploma or degree in hospitality management (advantageous)
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in laundry supervision within a hospitality setting.
