Almond Blancher Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Almond Blancher Operator to oversee the blanching process of almonds. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of blanching machinery, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate the blanching machines according to production specifications.
• Load and unload almonds into the blanching machines.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene practices.
• Assist with troubleshooting machinery as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Related certification in Food Safety preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a food production setting.

Languages

• English: Fluent
