Job Description

Animal Health Services is looking for a skilled Veterinarian to enhance our dedicated care for pets. In this position, you will be at the forefront of animal healthcare, undertaking routine check-ups and emergency cases. Your role will encompass diagnosing health issues, prescribing treatments, and building meaningful relationships with clients. We focus on teamwork and continuous improvement for optimal animal health.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
• Engage with pet owners to provide clear insights into their pet's health.
• Work collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage pharmacy operations including dispensing medications.
• Handle all animal interactions with care and empathy.
• Document patient care and treatment thoroughly for effective follow-up.
• Participate in case discussion for continuous improvement.
• Involve in clinic management and other administrative tasks as necessary.
• Build awareness of preventative measures in veterinary care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS)
• Postgraduate training in a specialized field is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in companion animal care.
