Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as they will play a key role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditor and tax authorities.
• Train junior staff on accounting processes and software.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
• ACCA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
