Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our expanding mental health team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical assessment, therapy, and patient care. You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological support to our clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. This role requires a compassionate professional who can work collaboratively with other healthcare staff and actively contribute to our mental health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with established treatment protocols.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results.
  • Educate clients about mental health and treatment options.
  • Provide guidance and support for clients navigating complex emotional issues.
  • Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to support client needs.
  • Engage in regular supervision and peer feedback.
  • Participate in staff training and development workshops.
  • Advocate for client care and ensure their voices are heard.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
