QA Engineer

Job Description

Looking for a QA Engineer in Johannesburg to enhance our quality assurance processes through innovative testing methods. Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure our products deliver outstanding experiences to users while adhering to industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive test strategies and plans based on project requirements.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and performance metrics.
• Work alongside developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing.
• Assist in the lifecycle management of the testing process, from requirement analysis to post-release validation.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss project developments.
• Mentor junior QA Engineers as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in testing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• ISTQB certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
