Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team in Durban. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality veterinary care to animals while supporting our veterinary staff in diagnostic procedures and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in various clinical procedures.
• Perform diagnostic imaging and assist in radiology.
• Collect and handle biological samples for testing.
• Monitor vital signs of patients during treatment.
• Assist with dental cleanings and oral health evaluations.
• Provide compassionate care and comfort to animals in distress.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Nursing
• Veterinary Assistant Certification is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years of relevant veterinary experience is preferred
