Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for animals and a commitment to providing the highest level of care. Responsibilities will involve diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on health and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine examinations and assessments of animals.
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Educate pet owners about vaccination schedules and preventive care.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Manage pain and provide supportive care for animals.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to enhance animal health.
  • Keep abreast of new techniques and treatments in veterinary medicine.
  • Uphold client confidentiality and maintain professional standards.
  • Participate in the training of junior staff and interns.
  • Contribute to clinic marketing and community engagement strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • BSc in Veterinary Science
  • Postgraduate studies in veterinary medicine are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical veterinary practice
