Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Surveyor to join our enthusiastic team. In this role, you will conduct precise measurements and assessments to contribute to land development projects across Johannesburg. You will use advanced surveying instruments and techniques to provide reliable data and insights.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed land surveys using advanced technology and methods.
• Collaborate with municipal agencies for zoning and land use compliance.
• Prepare and present survey findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct boundary surveys and resolve land disputes.
• Review project plans for surveying requirements.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of survey data collected.
• Train and supervise field survey teams.
• Maintain surveying equipment and ensure it is calibrated correctly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or similar fields
• Master's degree in Surveying is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical surveying experience

Technical Skills

• Surveying Software
• Site Layout Planning

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Survey Technician (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with GIS software: Knowledge of GIS technology to improve survey data analysis.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations: Understanding of related environmental laws and regulations.
