Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a committed Registered Nurse to provide top-notch care to patients in our Durban facility. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to all health regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing updates to medical staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Facilitate patient education and support during hospitalization.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and outcomes measurement.
• Mentor junior nurses and nursing students.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care planning sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a nursing role

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a critical care setting: Experience working in ICU or emergency departments is beneficial.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Preference for candidates with ACLS certification.
