As an Actuary at Financial Risk Solutions, you will leverage your expertise in mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to assess risk and support decision-making processes. You will work closely with clients, analyzing data to create accurate financial reports and models. Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial projects focusing on financial risk assessment.
• Provide expert statistical insights to the management team.
• Assist in the development of internal tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with external auditors in reviewing financial reports.
• Train junior team members on actuarial principles and practices.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Evaluate the performance of existing models and suggest improvements.
• Oversee compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Perform sensitivity analyses to understand model reliability.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives within the firm.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Statistics
• Honours degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in actuarial services or related roles

Certifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
• Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF)
