Job Description

As a Farm and Home Management Educator, your role is to provide innovative training and practical demonstrations to farmers and students. You will develop tailored programs that address current trends in agricultural practices and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational tours and demonstrations on sustainable farming.
• Stay current on local and national agricultural policies and reforms.
• Mentor junior educators and interns in best practices.
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance agricultural education initiatives.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to solicit improvements in training delivery.
• Support the development of new projects aimed at improving agricultural productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or Extension Education
• Master's degree in Agriculture or related discipline is advantageous

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in community development or agricultural training
