Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our Pretoria healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to improving community health. You will play a vital role in diagnosing patient conditions, recommending treatment plans, and educating patients about their health.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and provide tailored healthcare solutions.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and specialists.
  • Implement evidence-based practices in patient care.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient confidentiality.
  • Conduct health promotion activities in the community.
  • Facilitate health education workshops for patients.
  • Document patient interactions and follow-up actions.
  • Advocate for patient rights and improved health policies.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years working experience in a similar role
