Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee our ongoing construction projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and teams. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes while fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and scheduling efforts.
  • Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments to minimize issues during construction.
  • Oversee quality control and safety compliance on site.
  • Ensure timely completion and successful delivery of projects.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and finance tracking.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for necessary permits.
  • Train and mentor junior construction staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Professional certification in project management is preferred
