Join our Durban team as a Social Worker, where you will play a critical role in supporting individuals facing challenges in their lives. You will assess and identify client needs, create tailored care plans, and connect clients with services and support networks within the community, creating a tangible impact in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs through interviews and observations.
• Create and manage comprehensive care plans.
• Counsel individuals and groups experiencing difficulties.
• Advocate for clients within the community and service systems.
• Liaise with healthcare providers and government agencies.
• Conduct outreach programs to raise awareness of services.
• Document case notes and progress reports.
• Coordinate with social service agencies for referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical or community setting

Languages
