Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals and families to address complex social issues, providing guidance and resources to support their wellbeing. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community programs aimed at improving social conditions.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor client progress.
• Advocate for clients' rights and ensure their needs are met.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed to support clients in urgent situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) required
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of field experience in social work or related areas

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
