Community Outreach Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to lead our community engagement initiatives in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering relationships with community members and stakeholders, planning outreach programs, and mobilising resources to support our mission.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and execute outreach programs that address community needs.
• Evaluate outreach initiatives to ensure objectives are met.
• Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution.
• Collect and analyse data related to outreach effectiveness.
• Represent the organisation at community meetings and forums.
• Assist in developing budgets for outreach activities.
• Stay informed of local issues affecting the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development or related field
• Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in non-profit outreach

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
