Job Description

As a Bookkeeper in Port Elizabeth, you will handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and facilitate month-end closing procedures. The right candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations and help in maintaining financial integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain bookkeeping systems and procedures.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure necessary funds are available.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.
  • Provide financial data support for various analyses.
  • Train and assist administrative staff in bookkeeping tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Additional certifications like CPA or ACCA are preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
