Job Description

We are seeking an E-commerce Manager to lead our online business strategy in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer engagement. You will drive the growth of our online sales through innovative marketing strategies and enhance user experience on our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and customer engagement metrics to refine strategies.
• Lead initiatives to improve site speed and checkout process.
• Coordinate with IT and web designers for website upgrades and maintenance.
• Prepare business cases for new e-commerce tools and technologies.
• Collaborate on content creation that aligns with marketing strategies.
• Facilitate training for staff on e-commerce policies and procedures.
• Manage the relationship with payment processors and service providers.
• Plan and execute seasonal sales events and special promotions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of e-commerce experience with a focus on digital marketing

Technical Skills

• Google Ads and Facebook Marketing
• Content Management Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent
