Engineering Technician

As an Engineering Technician, you will assist in the creation and implementation of engineering projects. Your proficiency in technical tasks and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams will be key to our success. Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of engineering equipment.
• Work with a variety of materials and equipment to achieve desired results.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements.
• Gather and analyze data to support project decisions.
• Contribute to project documentation and quality assurance processes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Engineering Technology or related field
• Higher Certificate in Engineering or relevant disciplines

Experience

• 3+ years in an engineering environment

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• Technical Report Writing

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

Advantageous

• Electronics experience: Experience in electronics and instrumentation will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards: Knowledge of engineering standards and regulations applicable in South Africa.
