We are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in both design and analysis, ensuring our mechanical systems meet high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Perform FEA and CFD analyses to improve designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for prototyping.
• Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain project documentation and specifications.
• Support production by resolving issues related to mechanical design.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) certification
