Job Description

As a Sonography Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams that are essential in diagnosing conditions based on images captured from internal organs and tissues. Your role will be central in assisting our medical staff in providing better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound procedures within a fast-paced medical setting.
  • Assess the quality and diagnostic accuracy of the images captured.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement best practices.
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and troubleshot as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous education to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Participate actively in patient comfort and care to enhance their experience.
  • Help with the training of junior staff and students when needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
Experience
  • Experience with specialized imaging technologies is a plus.
