Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Beverage Manager to lead our beverage operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for drinks, keen attention to detail, and a strong background in managing beverage services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing beverage menus, training staff, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all activities related to the beverage service, including staffing, ordering, and menu planning.
  • Create and implement best practices for inventory control and loss prevention.
  • Stay informed about new beverage trends and products in the market.
  • Foster a positive team culture that encourages feedback and collaboration.
  • Drive beverage sales through effective marketing strategies and promotions.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting related to beverage operations.
  • Address any customer complaints regarding beverage service promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive beverage budget that aligns with the overall business goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Food & Beverage Service or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial position within the beverage industry
