Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Cape Town office. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Review and provide feedback on product specifications.
• Coordinate with team members for end-to-end testing.
• Report bugs and issues using tracking tools.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Promote a culture of quality within the development process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ISTQB Certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing

Technical Skills

• Test Automation Tools (e.g., Selenium)
• SQL

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools: Experience with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
