Community Outreach Coordinator

We are excited to welcome a Community Outreach Coordinator to our Durban office. This role focuses on implementing community programs and building relationships with local stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Lead community outreach efforts to increase participation in programs.
• Design educational materials and resources for community workshops.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss community needs.
• Create strategic partnerships to support community projects.
• Assist in fundraising activities to support outreach initiatives.
• Document outreach activities and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Provide support and guidance to volunteers and interns.
• Engage in community networking to enhance program visibility.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Community Development or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the non-profit sector

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of grant writing: Skills in writing grant proposals to secure funding.
