Job Description

We are searching for an Urban and Regional Planner to join our dynamic team, focusing on sustainable development and housing grant evaluation. The successful candidate will work closely with community stakeholders and government agencies to create vibrant urban spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Research and assess urban development needs within various communities.
  • Develop and present strategic planning documents to stakeholders.
  • Support community engagement processes to gather feedback on development proposals.
  • Monitor project status and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Create visual representations of planning projects and proposals.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of grant allocation processes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to enhance urban living.
  • Advise on infrastructure, land use, and environmental issues.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with community members.
  • Draft legislative and policy documents related to urban planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Design or Environmental Planning
  • Master's degree is highly beneficial
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a related field
