Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our projects in Durban. You will focus on designing mechanical systems, performing simulations, and liaising with other engineering disciplines to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Test and evaluate designs against specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Assist in the analysis of reliability and performance metrics.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical product development.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time management

Certifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
