Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients in Durban. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and support health education initiatives. This position requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients within the nurse practitioner's scope of practice.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of health programs.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
  • Conduct research to improve patient care practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing with NP specialization
  • PhD in Nursing is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in clinical practice, with advanced practice experience preferred
