Job Description

We are seeking skilled Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have a strong experience in operating shoe-making machines and ensuring product quality. You'll be key in the production process, handling machinery and working with materials to craft quality footwear.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the machines are well-maintained and serviced regularly.
• Engage in problem-solving to address production challenges.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to streamline operations.
• Implement quality control procedures during production.
• Support the team in achieving overall production efficiency.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Technical High School Graduate
• Relevant vocational training is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years experience in shoe manufacturing or a related field.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CAD software: Basic experience with CAD applications for shoe design is a plus.
• Understanding of production optimization techniques: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles would be advantageous.
