Job Description

As a Tax Consultant in Durban, you will play a vital role in advising clients on tax matters, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with various tax laws. We are looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement tax strategies for clients.
• Assist in resolving tax disputes with revenue authorities.
• Conduct workshops for clients on tax compliance topics.
• Ensure timely filing of all necessary tax returns.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings regarding tax strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax compliance requirements.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying new tax opportunities.
• Conduct risk assessments on clients' tax practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-border tax matters.
• Prepare communications and tax planning documentation for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation or related field
