Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Pretoria location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient progress, educating patients and their families, and collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients with diverse needs.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients about medications and treatment plans.
• Assist in implementing nursing policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and collaboration with all staff.
• Respond swiftly to patient crises and implement emergency care.
• Record and maintain electronic patient health records.

Advantageous

• Experience in Critical Care Nursing: Prior experience in an ICU or emergency department setting.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification: Additional qualifications as a Nurse Practitioner would be advantageous.
