Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes. You will work closely with health professionals and stakeholders to design initiatives that address various health issues through research and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess health data to identify trends and health issues in the community.
• Design and oversee public health projects to promote health improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate existing health initiatives to measure impact.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote health programs effectively.
• Create educational materials and deliver training sessions to community members.
• Collaborate with local authorities to align public health strategies.
• Research and apply for funding to support health initiatives.
• Provide recommendations based on health data analysis.
• Advocate for health policies and practices that enhance community well-being.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health or community health work
