Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to lead our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure optimal supply chain performance, from procurement through distribution. You will drive process improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply chain activities with manufacturing and sales departments.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Stay updated on market trends and technological advancements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Facilitate continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes.
• Lead regular meetings with stakeholders to review supply chain performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in supply chain roles with a focus on management

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
