Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations in Cape Town. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensure excellent customer service, and help drive the restaurant's success through strategic management and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the restaurant’s budget and financial goals, ensuring a profitable operation.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure menu quality and consistency, collaborating with the culinary team.
  • Utilize customer feedback and market research to improve service offerings.
  • Develop promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety legislation, and food hygiene standards.
  • Create staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure optimal stock levels.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Higher qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or similar role
