We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our team at Wellness Vet Clinic in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive veterinary knowledge, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional animal care. This role involves performing examinations, diagnosing illnesses, conducting surgeries, and advising pet owners on proper health care.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical exams and develop treatment strategies.
• Carry out diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Manage surgery schedules and perform operations.
• Consult with pet owners on animal care and welfare.
• Provide healthcare education to pet owners.
• Actively participate in organizational meetings to enhance clinic operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of veterinary experience, particularly in general practice
