Job Description

As a pharmacist with our Local Pharmacy Group in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in promoting medication safety and patient health. Your responsibilities will include dispensing prescriptions, advising patients on medication management, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of prescription medications, including compounding.
• Provide insights into inventory management and ordering of stock.
• Assist with insurance claims and billing processes.
• Lead pharmacy health campaigns focusing on prevention and education.
• Ensure the pharmacy maintains cleanliness and organization standards.
• Participate in auditing and quality assurance activities.
• Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical developments and therapies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare or community pharmacy
