Job Description

Join our team as a Water Pump Operator, where you'll operate and maintain vital water pumping equipment. Your role will be crucial in monitoring the water quality and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, all while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of water pumps and distribution systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on all water pumping equipment.
• Collect water samples for testing and analysis to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.
• Document maintenance records and reports accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding service issues.
• Conduct emergency repairs and ensure continuity of water supply.
• Assist in the optimization of water treatment processes.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Technical Certificate in water operations or related field

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience operating and maintaining water pumps
